Artgeological Painting Show of Taining World Geopark by Kang Yu-yi

[Leaderette] Taining World Geopark is located in Taining County northwest of Fujian Province, covering an area of 461 sq.km. It is to the southwest of Shaowu, a northwest Fujian town of military importance. The geopark has an essential geological content called Danxia Landform, and also been characterized by granite mountains, dense forest, winding rivers, falls, Jinhu Lake islets, historic culture and the Red Army HQ.

Invited by Taining County Tourism Bureau, Prof Kang Yu-yi investigated Taining World Geopark, covered scenic spots such as Zhaixia Canyon, Shanqing Brook, Dajing Lake, Taining Geological Museum, Minister Alley, Red Army Street, Central City Sculpture Group. Prof Kang remarked that Taining World Geopark is superior to Wuyi Mountain in Danxia Landform, natural landscape and historic culture, so has a nice tourist industry prospect. In morning Oct 27th before leaving, Prof Kang gave a lecture on natural aesthetics to the Taining Tourism Bureau staff, talked about his opinion on Danxia Geological Landform.
